Payday at last - very little left over this month. Budgeting very very carefully has meant that we're not overdrawn. Managed a tillytidy/sweep of each little account (there's quite a few!), money jar (£10), survey payouts (£15) and a dabble in matched betting (£6.73) and this meant that I found £69.38 to overpay with and along with our normal £100 overpayment that will have to do for this month.Started my MFW journey in August 14 : £103,650

Lots of MSE activities this last week.
Bank AC switch almost complete - £40 cashback and £100 incentive.
Switching Energy suppliers, always worth checking as last month switching wasn't worth it but this month I'll save £85 per year and £25 Cashback too!
Shopping budget bang on target £190 of £400 spent.
Mortgage went down to £103092 before interest began to push it back up again. So close to the £102k but will be firmly in the £102's next month and I'm stupidly excited about hitting the 5 figure mark - according to my spread sheet that wont happen until June 2016 .... we'll see about thatStarted my MFW journey in August 14 : £103,650

Should be £20 to mortgage but after watching just a little of the news I'll be sending it off to Smartians Purse to help with the refugee crisis instead. We have so much, probably too much.Started my MFW journey in August 14 : £103,650

We're £1,300 ahead of where we would be if we hadn't overpaid anything which is a cheering thought. Still that interest though, OUCH!!!:eek::eek:Started my MFW journey in August 14 : £103,650

Gosh the interest!!
Mine is currently at £10.11 per day.
I was working stuff out the other day, and currently, for every £1 I have outstanding, I'll be paying off £2.66 if I do nothing about overpaying!
That alone has galvanised me into action!!
Now when I want a takeaway pizza, I buy an @sd@ one and put the difference to my CC debt. The sooner I pay that off the sooner I can snowball onto my mortgage!!
TxMortgage at end 05/2007: £90200
Mortgage at end 08/2018: £71646 paid £18354 (20.5%)
MFD: :eek:Original:05/2042:eek:
Car Finance: £8225 : £6392 (22.2% paid off)
CC Debt (0% until 06/2020): £5640 : £4400 (21.7% paid off)
