Report a comp?

Hi,

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but I couldn't see anything.

A couple of weeks ago I won Jimmy's restaurant competition for a free meal for two, we messaged on twitter and I didn't know when I wanted to use the prize so they asked me to message them when I knew so they could book with the restaurant.

So about a week ago I decided I would like to go tonight and have messaged, tweeted and posted on their facebook and am just being completely ignored.

I'm sure I read on here before if companies don't send a prize or in this case don't seem to want to let me claim it then there's some sort of company we can report them to? Does anyone know what I mean?

Have you tried ringing them? Could be that no-one is manning their social media accounts due to holidays?

No there's definitely someone manning them because I can see them reply to others.

Is this Jimmy Spices? I won from them a while ago on Twitter, theyre a pain to organise anything with. I dont think they check their social media much and dont check their accounts on the weekend. So youre better to tell them about a week in advance when you want to go.

Just tell them the location you wish to go to and the time and they tell you to call the restaurant (but i booked mine online) and then they send you a voucher with your name on which you need to print out to present when you turn up.

They are a nightmare, i found out the hard way when trying to book it myself, took about 2 weeks to finally get it right!

It's the Jimmy buffet restaurants. I sent them a DM on twitter on the 21st to claim my prize for the 30th, I thought that would have been more than enough time. When they didn't answer I tweeted them as well and they did reply on the 25th and asked me to message them again but still no reply.
