Thanks, I am not 100% re the exact location but I think it is near here:https://naturalresources.wales/out-and-about/places-to-go/north-west-wales/coedydd-aber-national-nature-reserve/?lang=en

Coedydd Aber National Nature Reserve, near Bangor
    ie:
Plant species and wildlife at Coedydd Aber

Primarily made up from oak, hazel and alder woodland,

    Plus:
Hundreds of years ago I might have met a prince in the nearest village.” ties in with: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coedydd_Aber_National_Nature_Reserve

ie: Coedydd Aber National Nature Reserve lies tucked away in a steep valley on the northern flanks of the Carneddau mountains, roughly mid-way between Bangor and Llanfairfechan in Gwynedd, Wales. Water cascades over a hard shelf of volcanic rock at the far end of the Aber valley, before plummeting 100m to flow swiftly along one of the steepest river channels in Britain.
The nearby village of Abergwyngregyn was an important centre for the Welsh princes in the 13th century, and the valley contains some remains from this period.

I cannot log in atm but they often require a more exact location.

My advice is to hold off entering as another member may be able to narrow the location further.

    Cheers for the comp.
