thanks emzie but unfortunatley they are all booked up. Think we might just put the tent in the car incase we can camp onsite and if not we will drive home and back again on Sunday morning!Next year I will know to get booked into a campsite early lol

It maybe worth checking again about the site next to Donnington itself as I heard they had opened another field up.
  • I have friends who live right near the race circuit, so I'm going to stay there for the night! Guarantied to stay they and its free!
    Thanks Adam

  • Get ya foot down. Just come from Donington this afternoon. Phoned Don this morn an they stated it will be full by 6pm. I left at 4pm and there was probably 10% of camping full. Facilities are basically toilets an somewhere to wash. Theres loads of camper vans and caravans too so just get down there. I'll see you tomorrow

There are two camp sites at Elvaston near Derby. It is about 5 miles from Donnington. I have stayed at both sites and they both have good facilities.
They also take caravans and camper vans for the less hardy.
