Postgraduate loans

Hi everyone, first time posting here. I am thinking about doing a masters in September 2016 but would like some information about the new loan system announced by George Osborne on postgraduate study.

I understand it is for 10k but I can't find any information on where you apply for it and how it works. Do you apply for it through the student finance website? Any information will be greatly appreciated

The details are still to be finalised. The government finished consulting on postgraduate loans at the end of May so an outcome is expected any time soon. Keep an eye on:

It is likely that the postgraduate loans will be applied for through Student Finance as with existing undergraduate loans and will be repayable concurrently with undergraduate loans. The precise terms will be finalised when the outcome to the consultation is published.
