ahh its a new thing for me nvd = no vendor days, all my weekly budget ends up in the vedors at work on choc/crisp/food/drink even though i take a packed lunch with me  which isnt healthy for my pockets or my weight loss. So i am trying to have loads of nvd in hope to give them up completely  i am tallying them in my sigWhat doesnt end up in the machines rolls over to the following weekly budget or goes into a seperate piggy bank (depending on the amount) and then i shall place this cash into my holiday savings :j

I only need to buy fresh veg this week, and pay my water bill tomorrow, both of which I have budgeted for. Apart from that I don't want to spend anything all week.
(Although I need to pop into Waterstones to add a points voucher to my card, so will probably buy HP no.6).
I'm going to put myself in for £10 this week, and see how I do. Pap, if I put change into my jars does that count towards the total? I may take the tenner out so I'm just spending cash rather than on my card.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

raph, hope you are getting on well with hp. regarding the change yes i do, if you see some of my daily spends threads my posts go something like this ~ £3.40 on X,Y and Z and 32p in my penny pots total = £3.72 but it depends on you, you can always save it all 'just in case' then friday night (the last day of the challenge) and bung it all in its rightful pots0 -

Hey Pap, I've finished re-reading HP 1-5, then I realised I don't even have no.6, so I can't start no.7 yet!
Re: change ~ I would prob add it into my pots at the end of the week as you suggested. As I pay with my cards mainly I don't usually have alot of change, most of the time I grab whats left lying around in work!:rotfl:
I will take out the £10 tomorrow when I nip into town to pay water & browse Waterstones.
Ooh! Just remembered, I still have a 50p piece in my purse, so will add that to the tenner (I only pot 1p&2p, 5ps and £1's) so Pap if you could write me in for £10.50 for the weekDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Hi PAP et al.
I over spent this week so I am in red....and on the naughty step.
Spent £43 and a few pennies.
Today I have spent £14.03 on some groceries...a small bar of chocolate accidentally fell into my basket....how did that happen?
Anyway excluding bus fare & groceries for the week, the budget for this week for me is:
£60. This is because I have to spend £35 tomorrow on a dental appointment  and then on Friday I am going to a beer festival (annual event!) and will need to get a taxi back. If I can spend less there, that'll be great but we'll see.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly
