A chainless bike?

I was having wrist and knee issues although they only started three years after riding the bike and it was a change to another bike (going clipless on the road bike) that started it, it took me a while to narrow it down to the hybrid as it was the only one that hadn't changed. While I'm sure the issues can be resolved I'm not prepared to go through further physical pain trying to sort it as I've made no progress so far and the rest of the bike isn't what I want any more either (Hub drive, rear drum brake, flat bars etc.) I have no issues with the other four bikes so I don't know why the hybrid and I don't get on any more.
