  • It looks like a complete scam. If they ask you for money, run as far away as possible in the other direction!

I have been working for home as a web search evaluator for many years now and I have also done call centre work from home too. Loads and loads of posts on this very topic, so just do a search on the forum for "work from home".

Never, ever send anyone any money for "work from home" information.

I wouldn't say it was easy, as you do have to train and complete an exam, and it does take a certain level of intelligence, but I do enjoy the work a lot. I make between £500 and £700 a month part time, depending on how many hours I do, some people do it as a full time job.

Search for Leapforce, Appen and Lionbridge on the forum as they are the companies that offer it.
  • There are job adverts for people to work from home answering phone queries for different companies. Do they pay for a phone line etc?

I've done this type of job before and you need to provide all equipment, PC, phone line etc. You don't have to pay for making the calls though.

ERS Connect - making appointment reminder calls for the NHS. Pays minimum wage, shifts are 1-3, 3-5 and 6-8 and you need to do 12 hours min a week. Shifts are selected weekly. http://www.ersconnect.co.uk/careers/

Sensee - various contracts, mostly customer service. Wage and min hours/shifts vary http://www.sensee.co.uk/home-agent/vacancies.aspx

There are others, but these are the main ones offering at home work.

I saw a job advertised a couple of weeks ago on the JobCentre Universal Jobmatch site, i can't remember the name of the firm. But it was selling from home using your FaceBook page. I posted it on here and was told that's the new name and way of working for Betterware.
