Just had bloomberg on for a second. More drops to go, as apparently people are buying adult colouring books for relaxation. Apparently, you don't expect to see that when markets at at "calm tops".
Some of the stuff they come out with!0 -

I love Bloomberg. It's one step up from reading tea leaves.0 -

China is a serious "blip", it will cause waves here and there.......but it is not the weakest link in the chain.
Only if the chain breaks in other places will we have a black swan. Nothing more for now..........but gold is still very cheap.

ASX was up a couple of percent despite the very obvious and large exposure to China.0

It might well turn out to be the calm before the storm, but I invested a little yesterday (in the middle of the turmoil) because I thought:
1. This might delay rates rising (USA and here).
2. The SSE Composite is only where it was yesterday, about where it was in January and the FTSE was in the mid 6,000's then.
3. The SSE seemed to be way overpriced anyway, much more than you could argue the same for the FTSE 100 and the S&P 500.
4. I'm happy with the price that I was buying in at.
5. Now pension funds can invest in the SSE Composite, which may help bring some stability in the mid to long term.
But I've been wrong before, and it won't be the last time.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0
