Could this be reason for AIP decline?

Hi, I have 1 default back in 2012, but it was paid off, I don't know why its still at the top of the list in my file every month? :( Secondly, please take a look at the following credit searches screenshot, can this be a reason for AIP decline with halifax?

Please check: i57.tinypic.com/2uyjdyc.jpg

For those not wishing to check the link - It shows 13 applications for credit in the past 6 months (of which 5 were in the last 3).

My view on OPs question - This many searches are an issue. Even if an AIP isn't affected a full Mortgage application could well be.

If you are applying for a 90-95% mortgage then you are probably going to struggle, not impossible but it makes it difficult to pass a credit check.

You will need a broker to improve yoru chances of getting it through I think.
