I have a solar PV system just under 4 Kw 12 panels total cost £6500, After a lot of reserch i went with the sun power E20 327 panels they have a mirror underneath the cells so the light passes throught and is then reflected back through them . My first years return from the F.I.T was £798 meaning each panel returned £66.50p for the year and my energy bill was down by £240 from the year before. The last meter reading I gave in I was told my system was working at 140% and had to send them a photo of my meter showing the reading and the serial number as they said this was quiet high. I have had to change the way I use energy around the home and got a lot of advise online. I set my washing machine to come on between 12 and 1pm. The hot water as I have an emersion as well as gas I do the same and it stays hot in the tank for about 3 days. I only use my gas boiler for my central heating. one of the only things I leaf on overnight is my sky box as this is often updated in the early hours every think else is turned off at the socket.0
