Mortgage-sa302-pension income

Hi,
I recently applied for mortgage and gave sa302s. They got back to broker and said that in 2014 sa302 it details pension income which is not present in 2015 sa302.so it is inconsistent. I was getting maternity allowance in 2013-14.
So I just wanted to know what sort of proof would lender want to show I was receiving it. Is bank statement with maternity allowance showing acceptable ?
Any advice appreciated
