Hi there
First time poster here, so apologies if it is in the wrong thread!
22.07 - Right, I applied to Virgin Money for a DIP back on the 22nd July, which I got. I provided my broker with all the requested items, bank statement, p60's, wage slips etc etc..
Viewed the new build development and got a wee house reserved and what not a day or so later, met with the broker on
27.07 were I thought the full application was signed and submitted.
Chase the following week, around the
05.08 for an update was told nothing yet.
10.08 - Chase again and asked why I hadn't paid for the valuation fee yet as it was showing on their site that this was more or less part of application from day one! He said they were assessing me first and that this was the last stage. Am I wrong for not believing this?
13.08 - Was given the go ahead to pay the fee and VM credit searched me for the second time.
17.08 - Valuation carried out.
18.09 - Chased brokers asst (he's on hold!) for an update and was told I'd hear within the next week.
I'm applying for an 85%LTV. If they've credit searched me when they gave me the DIP, everything is true and again then, done valuation etc, should I be OK or worried? I suspect the length of time it has taken, almost 4 weeks is down to my Broker but whats your experiences of Virgin Money???
