Declined with broker but got AIP myself?

My broker submitted our details to halifax intermediaries and our application was declined based on low credit score, even though its good credit score with no defauls, ccj, iva etc clean profile! After our decline we had no hope.

Today I just tried the halifax's website and got AIP with £190,000 with 15% deposit. We have also booked an appointment with halifax advisor for tuesday. Do we have any hope?

Thanks

Are you 100% certain you entered everything correctly?

A missing middle name, or a spelling mistake can generate a false result.

Did you enter your address your way or did you use the Royal Mail postal address format output?

Did you leave out any address from your history as you were staying with a friend for a few months?

I can't speak for other brokers, but if I got a fail on a case I expected to pass I'd be trying different loans to value to see at what level it would pass and I'd be checking the data I'd entered.

when you say you got an AIP of the internet, was that just what they would lend you on the website, or did they actually provide you with an AIP?
Is the meeting with the advisor to discuss the AIP or giving you a firm AIP?

Did your broker submit a full application to Halifax whereas you have just applied for an AIP?
