Hi does anyone know any threads that are for first time buyers?
We are currently trying to save for our first mortgage to then buy a home and would like some info about this?
Also any information on how the help to buy works, does it have to be a new build house as a lot of new build houses are about £150,000 and we were looking at a joint £80,000-£100,000 mortgage?
thanks

Help To Buy Mortgage Guarantee is for both. It increases the availability of 95% mortgages.
The latter does not lend you 20% of the purchase price towards your deposit though.
