Old trival pension pots

Hello all,
I have two small pension pots from previous employment, one with friends life with around £650, and the other with Aviva with £2,000.
What's my options for these? I'm around 37 years from state retirement age. Is there any way to release the trivial amounts?

assuming based on you being so far from state pension age that you are under 55, nothing.
You cannot access any pension unless it has a specific protected retirement age before you reach 55

No.
But you can move them to your current pension or anew PP or Sipp to contribute to further.
From what I can see coming in t he future, you will be able to get your mitts on them from age 57 in your case?0 -
Are you currently contributing to a pension? Would a transfer in be possible?0

Thanks all. Yes I've got a company pension pot.
I think I might merge the two and keep it seperate. I've often thought once i've finished paying off my student loan (in about 2.5-3 years) I'll use the £220 monthly saving and put some of this into a private pension.0 -
You might be able to transfer both into a cheap stakeholder through Cavendish.
