Lidl in Scotland
Did anyone receive a Lidl card in the mail with a key fob? Ours came yesterday, no information, just the card and key fob in a pop out piece of plastic. So we went to Lidl and the offer is a whopping £5 off card when you spend £25 between now and the 28th of October. Only for Lidl in Scotland, but well worth it.
If we had known (we had almost £42 worth, one of us would have taken the key fob and half the shopping and we would have topped up the other trolley for two lots of £25.
For some reason they are being super quiet about it. There was no publicity at all in the store we went to. But if you got one of their cards, they are worth a twirl, and if not and you like to shop there, maybe ask at the counter for one?

This £5 off a £25 spend is the special for this week. Apparently next week they will have a different offer, but they don't know what it is yet. The Lidl I went into today had the cards right by the door.0

OH was told in store that the £ 25 is for 1 shop, it doesn't accumulate like points in other stores.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Yes, but £5 off £25 every time you shop. We just split up our shop into three separate transactions. Not sure what the special is for next week.
If anyone is tempted by the 5 t-shirts for £8.99, be warned, they shrink. So get them a couple of sizes too big.0 -
Was in Lidl in Edinburgh and they had lots of the cards at the front door and got £5 off my £25 shop.0

I think the offer changes every Thursday, I believes it was fiver off if you spend 25 quid last week, but I can't find what current offer is.0 -

This week is £6 off £30. It has fluctuated from £5 off £25 to £8 off £40. The offer for the following week is printed at the bottom of your receipt. You can use it as many times as you like because all the cards have the same bar-code.If money saving starts to involve irritation or frustration the fine line between thrift and greed should be examined.0
