For you what is the BEST thing about comping and what is the WORST?
For me the best is dreaming about winning the prizes I am entering for.
(Obviously it should be winning but that doesn't happen very often
)
The worst is the amount of junk mail I have to wade through each day

Best - the little or big pick me up of a winning email or notification of a win knowing that my life can be helped a little
Worst - lots of emails and the amount of comps you have to enter before you win something, it gets frustrating knowing sometimes i have to enter 1000 comps just to win a DVDCosplayer and proud0 -
Best - surprise wins that just turn up. The other month a massive box of Joseph and Joseph products turned up out of the blue without any notification.
Worst - "Sorry you didn't win but here's a 10% discount" or where the emails say "winner" in the title but they're announcing someone else as the winner. Grr!2019 Wins

Best - winning something you or yours really wants - especially money can't buy, or can't justify the cost of buying yourself.
Worst - when a comp is supposed to be effort/judged, so you spend a bit of time on it, and company just do a random pick.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -
Unexpected deliveries-had two since I started in January, the first one being a designer bag and purse
The worst is all the spam (and it's getting worse) and the "Sorry you didn't win but here's a discount"2018 wins-12wins0 -
Best - an amazing win (naturally
), but I love effort comps too on pinterest. A lot want interior design boards to be made and that is one of my favourite things, so rather than it feeling like a chore it's really fun to put together!
Worst - having to chase a company/person up on a prize that you haven't received. Remember one company who were rather rude when I did this; and I waited over a month to email them about it too! Don't think it was unreasonable of me at all to question them after that amount of time especially. If you're going to hold a competition at least make sure you're committed to actually sending the prize! I did receive it eventually though, so I let them off:j

The best is that I could have an ITV call or channel 5 call and that could happen anytime even tomorrow.
The worst is dry spells. They are the worst because we all should be comping to win lots.0 -
Best - obviously the winning, being able to give things to friends and family that I wouldn't normally be able to
Worst - the dry spells and the winner emails which are just for money off or announcing the winnerBe Kind, Work Hard, Stay Humble, Smile Often, Keep Honest, Stay Loyal, Travel When Possible, Never Stop Learning, Be Thankful Always and Love0 -
Best is winning and worst is the spam emails!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
-
Best - the OMG feeling when a winning email /phone call comes in, more rare than a blue moon.
Worst - the trolls that post on here saying they've won £Xk of prizes this year alone, (and have no intention of stopping) like it's some sort of competition :rotfl:who wins the most.
I notice that some radio stations have introduced a limit of one +£500 win in 6 months. Wish more companies would do the same.0 -

Global and Bauer whose stations include almost all the big commercial ones have done it for many years and some of the smaller ones do it with even lower prize values.0
