Do I need a steam mop?

The 'Pick of the Day' on the Ideal World shopping channel is a steam mop which has a strong brush attachment for cleaning patios. I am very tempted, as a big area of my back garden is paved and I would like to be able to clean the pavers without chemicals or a power hose, which sprays all the mess up onto the borders and walls. Also of course it would clean the floors in the house. Have any of you used one of these, and would you recommend it? (Or talk me out it before I part with my hard-earned cash!)

I haven't got one but would really like one as I think they look fab. That price is higher than I have seen them in some Women's magazines though so shop around.Jane
