CSA need some help

So basically, I lost my job in july last year but carried on paying child maintenance till October. I got JSA coming in from December and JSA told them i was receiving payments from then. I had many a phone call with them regarding arrears and had agreed i didn't have to pay the arrears and CSA would take payments straight from my back each week.
Today i have had a phone call and the argument was that i didn't personally tell them I didn't have an income (which i did tell them in july),
As i kept saying to them JSA informed you i was receiving job seekers. He said by law im required to tell them and i said it wasnt the point as i had anyway but JSA should have told them as well and also by law i had to pay all the arrears off even though his colleagues had already told me months ago (i have phone them since about 50 odd times) I didnt have to pay any of the arrears and someone will write to me with confirmation of this.
If the arrears werent there, i worked out its 28 weeks of payments since losing my job and i had paid 600 for july, aug and sep so at 7 quid a week would be 320 still in credit?
Someone please help me with what is going on and what i can do! i just dont have the funds for the arrears plus cant see my son due to someone not willing to mediate at all and done the court papers and they haven't even got back to me since a month ago.
What can i do?? Jst to top it off, got a little one on the way with the missus! Jst need help with this all as i don't know what i can do!
I recently got back on my feet and tried going back to work lasted 3 weeks, I was thrown in the deep end and asked for help next minute they pulled me in the office and said that I was unsuitable for the environment? ( I also suffer with anxiety which they were made aware of when I was interviewed )
So currently I am in the process of job hunting, whilst waiting for ESA to come through as medically the Doctor has signed me off for a month.
I am at my wits end it's like talking to a brick wall to the CSA. I have no problems of paying maintenance before the whole CSA fiasco I paid the ex £180 per month for a good 5 years.
Many thanks

Its not the job centres job to inform the CSA that you are in receipt of JSA. When did you tell them you got JSA? Thats the date they can do a reassessment from. Why did it take so long to claim JSA after losing job?0

Because I lived off my last pay check and savings, I still paid the full amount of money ( maintenance) each month during the course of this time think it was 3 or 4 months.
I have evidence showing the payments being made.0 -
Its not a problem that you paid. You didnt inform them that you didnt have an income so they couldnt change the assessment. They will only re-asses when they are told and very rarely backdate unless they have made a balls up.0
