Anybody know anything about SIA license for door work?

Looking for a change and this has always held interest for me,lots of jobs near me especially females. I have no experience , have done nightclub work, but bars lol. Im good with team work, but can work alone, i have been doing karate for about 6 months but only have a red belt. Does anybody have a general info?

Don't know anything about the licence but do you get nervous when trouble kicks off?

Karate is all well and good if the people causing the trouble were fighting like that but they don't. It's a brawl and there are no hard fast rules.

Hi, thanks for replying.
No I dont get nervous, When working in the nightclub I would often help calm them down, and also pull them apart ( doormen busy chatting up the skirts and not paying attention )

Karate has been great for my confidence and fitness as it also involves kickboxing for cardio and sparing.
