What the heck's an e cheque?

OH got me a birthday present on ebay on 05/08 and paid instantly by paypal. The seller sent a message after saying the item would be sent after the payment had cleared, 5-9 days. He's never heard of this happening before. He got a message from paypal saying an e cheque had been sent and cleared to the seller on 13/08.As of today the item has still not arrived and he's confused as he certainly didn't ask for an e cheque.Crikey a personal cheque would have cleared faster. Can anyone explain.

I think you're just going to have to be patient.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Chances are, his credit card has expired. Basically, you pay by echeque when your primary funding source is unavailable.
Or because someone broke a nail in the paypal admin dept. Or something. My TV is broken!

check your OH's credit card details on file with eBay
anyhow, the seller can cancel it from their end and you can then re-submit using either updated credit car details or through a bank account0 -
