Christmas cracker ideas

Hi all

Apologies if this thread already exists somewhere, couldn't find it on my search, but if it does can someone redirect me?

Anyway, am planning to do homemade crackers this year and fill them with more personal treats than a large paperclip and mini tool set. I did it last year too, did things like lipgloss for daughter and mini bottle of whisky for dad, but have to say I did struggle for ideas.

So, am looking for inspiration for this year - anyone?

Hi, ive never done my own, but am thinking about it this year. Do you put the persons name on there cracker? so they definitely get that gift? as when pulling a cracker your never sure who will get it?
Also who are you doing them for (and age if children) and i`ll try and help with idea`s.
I will have me (do i do myself one lol) husband, daughter 9, 3 sons 7, 11, 15. and my mum and dad.

Betterlife - I put their names on it, as have quite a wide range of ages from 12 to 69, so try and find something fairly personal. Am now thinking (thanks to Poppyoscar):

Packet of seeds for Dad
Lottery ticket/scratch card for Mum
Gift voucher for my teenage daughter

Now just need hubby, brother and younger daughter (12)
