Completion nearly here. CREDIT?

So we are near the completion of our mortgage and could be in the house in about 4 weeks time.

Obviously my car has packed in and it isn't a cheap job, (head gasket at best) i was going to be getting rid of this car when we moved in anyway and get something now on finance or bank loan.

There is no way i can take credit before completion is there though?

Better to get a cheap run around, borrow from a friend/relative or find a rental in the meantime, just in case.

Thats what i thought. I have looked at scrap prices around 300-400. or do i waste time getting it fixed then i can sell it for around 1500-2000.

These things are sent to test us :undecided
