eversheds repossession being awful

Right this is quite long. We originally got in arrears and has a court order made against us for repossession which we managed to stop as I had some inherritence and we paid the full 8k off.

My husband lost his job and we now find ourselves in 3.5k arrears on a 35k mortgage with 6 years left.

Eversheds have recently contacted me with a new eviction date, I have been emailing them constantly as I was some kind of copy of all conversations.

I've offered 675 from the arrears a month with the an idea in mind to clear in full when I get my mother's inherritence, they asked for proof of this so I emailed my documents from barclays proving so.

They've had many questions to ask me. But they seem to ask one per email which has resulted in a delay of 2 weeks. They reply every 5th day asking yet abother question all of which could have been asked in one email.

I spoke to someone yesterday who took my incoming and outgoing and said he'd go to santander and get back to me today, I've just spoke to him now he continued to ask more questions he'd already asked and now informed me I won't get an answer till Monday now.

The repossession is set for the 20th. In all honesty it's like they're doing everything they can to delay things. I have my grandchild living with me so if we are to be repossessed I need to get moving vans etc set in place which I can't afford to do until I know if they've declined the offer. He's stressed time and time again they may not take it and have I had anything to think about over night l. He's very judgemental and I hate speaking to him.

He's got no response when I ask why I'm sent one question per email

Please can someone help.

The best thing to do is to apply straight to the court who issued the possession order - it's the court who set eviction dates and they are also the ones who cancel evictions.

Write to the court with your proposals, giving copies of the proof of your inheritance - they will then make the decision on whether the eviction can be stopped.

There's no point in going through Eversheds, they'd only pass the information to the court anyway.

    Hope this helps.
