Text comps, put details?

When entering a text comp, like Big Brother where it just asks for the answer, do I put in my name , phone number or any other details? Otherwise , how do they know who I am? I know they'll see the number the text came from but that's all! Thanks for any help

If you look on the text and postals section of the forum it tells you what you need to include hun.

For example itv comps just ask for answer and they will save it with your number that's all they need as they contact you for your details.

Soaplife mag asks you to include name house number and postcode along with answers as they pick winners and send cheque out without contacting you.

The asda aquafresh inside out comp just asks you to text asda and a 4 digit code. No personal details and if you win they text you a link to a form to fill with your personal details.

So when entering a text comp read what it asks you to send and only send that info if you add bits just cos your worried you may find your text gets disregarded

thanks for that , I was worried either they 'd ignore me cos I didn't put my name or disqualify me if I did!! Didn't mean to seem like a thicko but ................ lol

lol it's not just you I wondered that as well and it can be confusing as some just want your name and some want everything including email. I just look at the what the post says todo and hope for the best
