Looking for ML Group Pension Fund address

Hi, I worked for a part of the ML Group of companies (ML Engineering Plymouth) many years ago, and I lost contact with the Pension scheme. I'm now trying to locate my missing pension.
The pension scheme that I am looking for is the ML Group Pension Fund.
I've been in contact with the Pensions Tracing Service and the Pensions Advisory Service, but they've been unable to locate the scheme.
Is there anyone out there who is receiving a pension from the ML Group who can give me an address of the ML Group Pension scheme?
Thanks
Geoff

Many thanks for the response. I've already been in touch with Capita and they only deal with the pension arrangements for the new owners - Bombardier.
Because when I left the company it was still called ML Engineering and owned by ML Group, then they believe that my pension rights are in the ML Group Pension scheme, and would not have been transferred to the Bombardier scheme, who only bought ML Engineering some time after I left.0 -
When and how long were you working for the company?
Was the Pension Scheme Defined Benefit/Final Salary and was it contracted out?
You mention a group of companies - does anything here ring a bell?

What information/paperwork do you still have about the pension?
How old are you now?0 -
I had another go at looking for a takeover history.

The company was first purchased by Asea Brown Boveri which has its own scheme - could your pension be there?

Hi xylophone, thanks for all the hard work. I think you're onto something with your ML Aviation reference. Its ML Holdings that I'm looking for as that's where I believe my pension is held, and it looks from your link as if part of the group was taken over by Cobham, and that's worth me following up.
I am aware of the history of ML Engineering Plymouth and its various owners to end up as Bombardier today as I did re-join the company as couple of years after I originally left, and in the 7 years I was there it changed from ML to EB Signal and then ABB Signal. I have kept track of that part of my pension, which is why I know I can discount the references to the history of ML Engineering Plymouth, and concentrate on the history of ML Holdings that were the owners of ML Engineering Plymouth when I left in 1985.
The dates I worked there were 1982-85 and it was a defined benefit scheme. Unfortunately I have lost the paperwork for the scheme due to a number of house moves over the intervening period. I'm 57 so have a couple of years to track down the ML pension scheme .
Many thanks once again for your help.0 -
You are sure that your three years with ML Plymouth entitled you to a deferred pension?
If so, and it was contracted out, you should have a pre 88 GMP and an excess?
See https://www.barnett-waddingham.co.uk/comment-insight/blog/2014/08/18/what-is-a-gmp/

There should be an NI record with HMRC?
Have you requested a new state pension statement?

I certainly hope that there's a deferred pension there ! I do believe that it was contracted out, though after all these years and a number of different company's pension schemes, I could be mistaken.
I've taken your advice and written to HMRC to see if they can help locate the scheme.
I've also put a message on Streetlife in Plymouth to see if any previous employees are drawing an ML Pension and can help.
Thanks for all the help so far. I don't think this saga is over yet - far from it.0
