Halifax! Full mortgage app and valuation fee taken!?

Hi all!
Wondering if you can help...
Submitted my Halifax app through our broker this morning... Checked Experian just now and can see there is a search from them from today marked as "first mortgage"
I have also seen they've taken the £665 for the homebuyers survey, as it's showing as a pending transaction on my account.
I do know it's very early on but does this look like it's likely I have passed credit checks, and now just the valuation or?! How quickly will my broker be able to see any progress?
I have read in some places Halifax take the money straight away and in other places they will take it if happy with credit scoring?
Any advice greatly welcomed 🙏🙏🙏

No they take the valuation fee automatically when you submit the application0

They've had my valuation and homebuyers fee for over a week now, survey was done on Monday, further bank statements requested/sent on Monday and still I'm awaiting a decision.:beer:0
