Not the chicken I wanted, but good value.
Another weekend miss for myself, but freezers are bulging again!!
Supposed to be reducing, but picking up reduced lamb, beef and fish bargains from Asda and Sainsbury's!!

Thanks Dl...nowt for me this week, well up on olives, my local sold off Eridan@us pitted green at £1.99 for 1600g (drained 850g).
Waiting for beef mince at £1 per 500g., though might stock up instead on pork mince from Morrisons at £1.49 per 525g.
Pineapples didn't last long at 49p, now 65p.

The Morrison's pork mince is a decent offer. My local Asda had a glut of pork mince the other day and were selling off 900g packs for only 80p!! Didn't last long at that price!!
I'm still stocked up on beef mince and lamb mince (used some yesterday) and I'm still after chicken breasts. The "Deluxe" range of fresh meats wouldn't be refused, well some anyway.
Need space for Xmas stuff though...................it's creeping up.

I don't know what piri piri chicken tastes like .... might "um and ah" and think about it.
I could do with another pepper - yesterday I finished eating the last one I bought (at the 27p price two weeks ago).

That sounds nice.... I do hate the idea that I'll buy something and cook it, not like the taste and then have wasted good money on food, taken time to cook it ... and I'm then sitting there still hungry and without food

That's why I mostly stick to what I know.

the way i cook the chicken if microwave it in the packet and then brown it off in a hot oven , comes out lovely
