Does it matter where salary is paid into?

We are looking to apply for a joint mortgage soon
Our DIP is with Halifax
My partner has his salary paid into a current account that is in my name only (this current account is also with Halifax)
For us it is much easier to pay all the bills out of one account and we didn't want a joint account as my partners credit rating isn't as good as mine so didn't want to link up with him before applying for a mortgage
He does have a current account in his name that I transfer his disposable money into (this is with Nat West)
So, is it a problem if both salaries are paid into my bank account?

It may get raised as a question but I would imagine it can be overcome.
I am not a massive halifax user so not sure what their stance would be but I would have the conversation with them beforehand and see if you get confirmation from an underwriter.
This is something I as a broker would run by an underwriter or account manager (depending on the lender).I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
