I'm leaving my current company next week after nearly 12 years and really want to get something for my employer/work colleagues to say thank you and goodbye. Do anything have any ideas?!
Thanks
Thanks

Take your work colleagues out for a meal?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

They are doing that for me!

I'd leave a tin of celebrations and a card to say thanks. Or get a funky clock or something for them to remember you by:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Your departure should enough :P Only joking
Mine took me out for lunch and paid for me. Getting the first round in seems to be tradition. Tabs and limits depends on the salary and status.
I worked somewhere, it was custom for all the contractors to provide large bar tabs... Arrghh, im back here as a contractor now...0 -
Thanks, I like the idea of a clock or something.
You joke, but while I think most people are sad to go, someone who is usually so dower is literally skipping around and whistling a happy tune! Im trying not to take it personally!

Some cakes or biscuits go down well.0

Cakes and biscuits are the most practical offering. Somebody would probably take ownership of the clock and it would never be seen again.0

Depending on numbers you could get a batch of cupcakes made up at a local bakery. Add a decoration, colour or flavour which is either personal to you, the company or a running joke amongst yourselves?0

Where I now work, it is traditional for a person to bring in cakes when it is your birthday. It was mine last week and I forgot.Never Knowingly Understood.

How many people do you work with? One of my colleagues bought us all a pen with a slogan on to remind us of her.The most potent weapon of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. Steve Biko0
