Life after bankruptcy in 2008

Hi all thought i would share also, its been nearly 7 years now since bankruptcy and like Kezza90 said it flies in. Bankruptcy has taught me a lot too and i would say that most off those who have been there wouldn't want to go there again. i have been clear from November 2014 and have just bought my 1st house. and have a great credit card which i pay of monthly even tho it is 24months 0%. one tip i have for those yet clear is to keep an eye on your credit records each year. i had some banks which defaulted the debt every year and only i fought them they would have kept doing so. i ended up getting £200 via the ombudsman but i would have rather they just been honest and recorded the default properly. the info on this forum is invaluable and don't be afraid to post and ask questions its great. Pm me even if you need info on how i got the wrong info off my file. all the best
