We've heard rumours that people who ask few questions about an item can get hidden deals. We want to list which firms do this - and what type of discounts are on offer, so people can chat tactically.

I had been looking at topcashback when ordering ink for my printer but when I got to the site Cartridge People it had a web chat option. I spoke to an advisor and simply said as a first time customer was there not a discounted offer I could get. She gave me a code for 20% off which was better than the 11.6% I could get with topcashback so I was really glad I had asked. It only took few seconds and saved loads.
