Can I get a mortgage?

Hi Mortgage experts. I need a bit of advice. I want to get a mortgage
to buy a 40% share of a resale shared ownership property.
I have a very good deposit due to my equity from my recent divorce.
I worry that I won't get one because of my age---I'm 67 now.
The asking price for the share is 100k and I'll probably need to borrow just under half.
Would it be best to go for an interest only or repayment mortgage?Which would I have the better chance of getting?
Anyone?
