Tassimo Pods

These are currently £3 for some of the varieties in Waitrose. The Costa Americano which is the one I like is among those on offer. Great price for those wishing to stock up!:j

  • Costa American pods are the best IMO as nice as coffee shops. These were recently this price in T3sco too.

It's great isn't it? Saves a fortune in coffee shops as you can get your fix at home! Can't be bothered with those that need creamers just add a little milk to mine!

An interesting point of view as your paying around £80/kg for the no name coffee in those pods when a top notch small batch organic single estate artisan coffee would cost £35/Kg? and a good one around £15kg.

Yes... But we weren't talking about single estate artisan brewed coffee which is lovely for a treat. We were comparing a cup of Costa coffee which costs about £2.30 with a cup from a pod costing 20p - also Costa.

You said above "Saves a fortune in coffee shops as you can get your fix at home!"

If your at home it fails me why you'd want to drink no name, profit margin is king rubbish Costa when you can get known top quality coffee at 1/3rd to a 1/5 the price.

If you want a machine then I'd highly recommend a Jura Micro ENA 1 or if thats a bit rich then an Aeropress is £21.
