Poll started 4 August 2015

How do you rate your bank account's service?

We run this poll on big banks' current accounts every six months to see how the experience changes. We’d love your feedback.

Please vote based on CUSTOMER SERVICE for your main CURRENT account over the last SIX MONTHS. Please ignore rates or any other products, or service from more than six months ago.

How do you rate your bank account's service?

More interesting than the service ratings is the spread of banks favoured by MSE users as revealed by the number of votes cast for each.

Opinions as to service ratings are, frankly, random. For me, if a bank does what people with overdrafts pay for then I rate it "ok". A bank must do something out of the ordinary to get a "great" from me. For others, the mere fact the bank hasn't c*cked-up in the last 6 months warrants a "great".

The spread of voting figures are, however, more factual.
