The captchas are back on some of the bigger C2W mags. Oh well it was good while it lasted. I guess the upside is that it will cut down on the number of entries, especially on robot entries.

Ta for the heads up. I got away with it this morning, no doubt they'll be waiting for me tomorrow lol. Better get ready for the annoying 'vegan zombie wants grains' cobblers...

It's very good news for anyone who enters when they have the questions as they will be up against far fewer entries and it's unlikely there will be any from the "pay to enter" mob either.

I have always done the C2W, even with captchas. I used to get at least 1 decent win a month but not a bean since the captchas were removed. As annoying as they are I think patience is rewarded :-)

You will probably have been up against 1,000s of extra entries per day per competiton while they were missing.

I would agree with this. While it has been nice just clicking away at them, it seems that it has been a bit of a double edged sword. Perhaps they realised that there has been a huge spike in the number of entries and decided to re-instate the captchas.
It is a bit of a pain typing them in, but it can be really worth it. As long as they are a maximum of 5 letters long, I don't mind :D

  • hope they're the easy kind! I spent at last 5 minutes re-typing a captcha into a comp entry (for a holiday) last night. I even tried the audio and then downloading the audio to figure it out!

    I eventually just gave up.

Thanks for the heads up on this! Just entered all the C2W's on eat in magazine.....with questions from 'why don't you go to the gym' to which is smaller a cabbage or texas.

Think this will be great for decreasing the 'competition' lol with less entries and it only took me approx 2-3 minutes extra (per mag)
