Remortgage, Natwest or Bank Of Scotland?

Hi all,
I think I have the option of two places for a remortgage.
Natwest or Bank Of Scotland
both seem to offer identical products
5 year fixed, 2.23%, same fees etc
Does anyone have a preference over the two? Is there anything I should find out that could make them distinguishable.
Any thoughts appreciated,
Thanks

It's actually the Royal Bank of Scotland. Bank of Scotland is a different entity.
NatWest and RBS are essentially the same bank with 2 different brandings.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I used to work for RBS, you would be surprised at how different branch staff are in the 2 banks. RBS were generally a lot nicer then Natwest staff.
When it comes to the mortgage though, I think it is the same people that look at the applications so will not make any difference.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I've had a really bad experience with natwest. I've banked with them for 22 years, come to remorgage with them. Rate was really attractive, all paperwork submitted, no probs, I was approved and now they've undervalued my house by 20K and my repayments have gone up. Go for the RBS. I'm stuck with no money trying to fight for a realistic valuation of my house!0
