yikes ... hope you are feeling better soon.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Wow what a roller coater you have had the last few months - just caught up from September.

Glad most things are going well; but boo and get well soon to the chicken pox.

  • Ooh lovely comments!

MCI you are a glutton for punishment!

Ed you can catch it twice. It wasn't confined to one side which is why I thought chickenpox. A real blustery rash.

Long story short, flu ISH symptoms turned to a terrible bad back turned to sciatica. What an old friend. I worked through it because I didn't twig that I could have something contagious until after it was no longer contagious, IYSWIM?

Got interrupted having to text a parent directions. Sleepover for 15 year olds!!

Better now but sciatica pain is exhausting. Like someone's maiden aunt! eta Joyce Grenfell style. Not dissing maidens. Or aunts.

  • Yep. Been in bed for an hour this afternoon.

I am not especially tough but when you have just started a new job your stock of personal capital is low. They Don't know you and you Don't want to be the person who worked for a fortnight then went off sick. Excuse autocorrect's random capitalisation.

    Hmnnn. Am I a flitter?

    I've done

    5 years
    2 years
    3 years

    2 years...and here I am.
  • Morning!

Glamorous plans today. Restore 15 year olds to their respective homes. Clear up. Finish the washing.

Had a terrible night, a lot of pain. Couch to 5k on the back burner.
