Can anyone advise me please if I am able to transfer a pension scheme I have into my father's name or into a policy he might have? Is that possible?

No, a pension is a personal account.

He could be designated to inherit it on your death (if a DC pension) or you could draw it age 55 or over and give him the proceeds.
  • Pure speculation, but might I guess that:
    a) you're under 55
    b) he's over 55
    c) you would like to transfer the pension to his name so that you/he can access it now instead of waiting until you're 55?

If so, then sorry - there's no way to do this.
