Can anyone advise me please if I am able to transfer a pension scheme I have into my father's name or into a policy he might have? Is that possible?

No, a pension is a personal account.0

He could be designated to inherit it on your death (if a DC pension) or you could draw it age 55 or over and give him the proceeds.0

Pure speculation, but might I guess that:
a) you're under 55
b) he's over 55
c) you would like to transfer the pension to his name so that you/he can access it now instead of waiting until you're 55?
If so, then sorry - there's no way to do this.I am a Technical Analyst at a third-party pension administration company. My job is to interpret rules and legislation and provide technical guidance, but I am not a lawyer or a qualified advisor of any kind and anything I say on these boards is my opinion only.0
