Hi,
Can anyone recommend parking at Belfast city centre close to or within reasonable walking distance to the Grand Opera House? I will be required at this area from time to time (full days at a time) and I'm looking somewhere inexpensive/free.
Thanks

Why not use public transport? There's nowhere in Belfast that's more connected than Great Victoria Street.0

Castlecourt charges £4,50 for all day, mon to Fri. Little bit of a walk but very doable unless you're carting heavy equip or have mobility issues. Most convenient is the one at the Europa bus station, don't know how much it is for all day but I thought it was reasonable any time I used it.
If u Google belfast city parking there is a list of car parks and charges, sorry I don`t know how to post links.0 -
The park and rides are dirt cheap to park all day and bus will leave you off a short walk from GOH, ie opposite front of City Hall in the Northside P and RI started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p0

Good suggestions, my one point is that I'm not from the city and due to equipment that I'll be carrying I'll need the car parked in city centre.0

No idea of prices but you've got a Roads Service surface car park, and the Europa multi-storey, both accessible from Bruce St, easily accessible from the Westlink. The Europa multi-storey has an exit across the road from the side of the GOH so it doesn't get much handier.0

Thanks Sugarmummy, would have got a shock if I parked there for several hours and didn't realise the price had changed.
Looks like I'm back to parking at Europa then and walking in. Not really surprised as the last few times I was up midweek I could hardly get parked. While the low price was to encourage shoppers, I think a lot of workers were taking advantage of the rate, can't blame them but I really didn't like being on the roof.0 -
