They used to go down to a quid a few weeks before Christmas, but last year they only went down to £1.50. Sadly if I got them now, they wouldn't see Christmas (probably wouldn't even get through the door!)

Whistlefish Christmas Cards 15 for £6

You can select any 15 Christmas Cards for £6 which equates to 40p per card. They're great quality too and the designs are nice.

You can also get a free Festive Gift Tin when ordering £15 worth of Christmas cards which equates to 38 cards. There is free delivery when spending £20 otherwise it's £3.

I notice this year they're selling Christmas gift wrap but I can't vouch for this as I've not ordered any.

I usually start at the end of September buying little bits and bobs though I do make a list and tick them off as I go:
    toilet roll
    cleaning supplies
    table crackers
    crackers/biscuits for cheese
    nuts
    snacky items
    a few little treats
nothing special but it just saves doing one massive shop closer to the big day!

You'd be amazed at the amount of people that forget to get things like Loo roll, bin bags and cleaning supplies during those last minute supermarket dashes. We buy our Loo roll in bulk (big family so we go through a lot) so we always have extra, comes in handy when people start visiting en masse. We were all organised last year apart from the Parsnips, bizarrely we couldn't find and Fresh or frozen in the week running up to the big day which resulted in the Christmas Eve Parsnip hunt of 2014 (my dad won, found some on a fruit and Veg stall in the city centre- and bought so many we were still eating them in January!)
