RTE telextext on Saorview via BT TV box in NI ...

Bit of a specific question but maybe someone is doing this:
Is there anyone out there using a BT TV box (the one that records) to receive RTE over Saorview (i.e. close to a border area, NOT the rebroadcast signal in Belfast) who can tell me if they can still view the RTE Teletext service on it?
I'm thinking about replacing the Sky system at my parent's place with a BT TV box as that service is much cheaper for what it is needed for, the sole question mark being over whether Teletext signals from RTE can still be received.
Teletext still works with the RTE SD signal coming in over Sky but I'm not sure if the HD Saorview signal still carries them.

Saorview no longer supports teletext unless you have a Soarview certified box by the looks of it

Hmmm, looks like you can still get the info using the new-fangled 'digital TV' type interface.
Don't suppose anyone with a BT box knows if it will support the new mode?
That page says MHEG5 support needed which the BT boxes might have...
EDIT: Apparently they don't. Bummer.0
