I want to make wooden signs

I want to make some signs and sell them at craft fairs. Something like the one below.



Does anyone know what sort of machine can create signs like this? I'm assuming I need something that connects to a computer program, some sort of laser cutter?

Or do it the old fashioned way with a band saw or the even older way with a fret saw. A decent sized laser cutter is not going to be cheap, £500 for a small one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/laser-cutter

I could do it by hand but I want each sign to be accurate and there is the time element too. I want to be making 100's of these. I already make stenciled signs so am looking to increase my range.

CNC Router, laser cutters aren't meant for wood.

Modern laser cutters / engravers are for wood and plastics, all the wooden model kits I have made are laser cut - you can see the burn mark at the start and finish of the run.
