I still stand by everything I have posted here, I don't have to produce evidence, I didn't make any claim, it is up to those who made the claim to produce the evidence.
I would point out that the attitude and methods I have employed here are directly copied from HMRC so any attack on them is an attack on their [STRIKE]bullying[/STRIKE] methodology.The only thing that is constant is change.0 -
Many small businesses complete self assessment and are invited to "lump" all expenses together. No where on the form does it ask for the % of business verses private. If you are at the stage of the tax man asking questions - then you have already piqued his interest. My advice is to ensure every calculation is completed on an excel spread sheet evidentially setting out the rational and legality for the calculation. Then if you are investigated - the proper calculation rationale is all there.Stuck on the carousel in Disneyland's Fantasyland
