tying fine hair back in a ponytail

I've got quite fine hair, a bit wavy, and until now I've always worn it down, but it's getting long and I'd like to tie it back. The only problem being, the usual hair accessories fall out of my hair in about half an hour because my hair's not thick enough to keep them in
Are there any hair accessories (elastics, comb/clips, things to secure your hair back) especially suitable for thin hair?

I got some ponytail holders that are slide proof, they're called Goody Stayput. They certainly stay put in my hair. I can't remember where I got them from but you should be able to get them from Amazon I would imagine.0

Thanks. I've googled Goody Stayput and Boots have these, maybe these are the ones you are referring to?

The ones I got were elastics, like this...

Though they didn't cost anything like that. I've a feeling I got mine from Morrisons actually. I doubt I'd have paid more than about 4 quid for them (I'm too tight)

I use these when I plait small sections of hair because they are grippy and quite small so they stay put well.

I use little ones meant for kids as they grip my fine hair.
Also find some hair clamps with very close-together teeth.0 -
You can get packs of 'invisible'/no snag hair ties from Claire's that are cheap and cheerful, and also grip pretty well - worth trying for the low price.0

My hair is fine too but I've learnt to tame it. Use a back comb brush at the roots and then use a scrunchie (totally in right now) so that ur hair isn't too damaged by normal elastics!
Check out my beauty on a budget threadxx

I have the hair of a five year old, I find those tiny plastic elastics catch on my hair and break quite easily too so I just use childrens elastics."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0
