For those who still have the 50p vouchers (valid until march 2016) I've just spotted that Um Bongo 1L are half price from today in T at 64p. Don't know if vouchers are still online or not. I've had a very quick look but no joy for me.
I remember it being a PDF that I thought I'd saved but can't find at the moment. might be on my laptop. Luckily I've got half a dozen in my coupon purse waiting for this reduction.:)
HTH, SNS
ta for this - I even went to check the price on Saturday, first time I've been in Mr Ts for weeks

Read back. Made me a bit emotional (which I am anyway at the moment!). You're all lovely. And bubbs has updated very well!
I was always going to be admitted for one night on Monday, that was supposed to be so they could teach me how to catheterise my new channel through my belly button.
I felt unwell Sunday, and in the night started shivering. I managed to get up and sorted Monday, as I figured I was going to the right place. Whilst waiting for my cystagram I was freezing, had to ask for blankets. Had test, went to discharge lounge to wait for transport over to other site.
Started feeling really unwell. Bladder nurses phoned to see where I was as I was late. Told them waiting for transport but felt unwell. They spoke to nurses in discharge lounge who did some obs. Next thing they'd got a wheelchair and I was wheeled straight into A&E. Temperature of 38.4 and I cried and apologised to the dr for queue jumping (told you I was emotional!)!
Hooked up to iv antibiotics, bloods done etc. They've still not directly told me it was sepsis, but they all started referring to it as that yesterday. Had 2 days of alternate shivering and sweating, and temp all over the place. I have a new found respect for paracetamol, had it both iv and tablets and every time it made feel human again. Haven't had a shivering fit since yesterday and temp been more stable today, so hopefully am over the worst now.
As for the catheter. They couldn't get one in. They took me to theatre yesterday and put me under general to try and get a scope and catheter in, but couldn't. So basically the channel has failed, possibly linked to when the tube came out twice at home and whether it ever got reinserted properly or not. So at some point, I face more fairly major surgery for a channel revision. I'm not in any hurry though, I'd like to recover from all this first.
Have felt the best I've been so far today, although that only started after another problem. Long story short my supra pubic catheter blocked. Bladder nurse did a flush and drained 1250ml from my new bladder. At least it's got good capacity I suppose! Once that was done agonising stomach cramps stopped almost immediately.
Think that's about it. Had a ct scan this morning and the bed lost power after, so took a while to get it back and low enough to get off! They've told me it's likely to be at least another couple of days I'm in for. No visitors.
Sorry for those I've put to sleep by the end of this post! :rotfl:0 -

The lovely bubbs says she has updated you all that things haven't been so great for me. This is the first time since Monday I've actually felt well enough to get my iPad out.
I think I'm going to be in hospital at least another couple of days whilst the infection clears, potentially longer.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that passed on their best wishes. Bubbs said people were thinking of me and it's very kind of you all.
Got a bit of energy left so going to have a read back.
Good afternoon so nice you have the energy and enthusiasm to be able to post LS:AI cannot even start to imagine what these last few weeks have been like for you:(but feel sure you are in the right place at the moment...are you still in UCL or the Old Heart Hospital? take care and rest and recoveryis what is needed for you x0 -
Yes we have a household manual as well and it was in constant use for years - I tried to give it again to eldest son as he was going to be around at weekends when he came back to the Uk - he was not impressed.
When we came back from hols in June I was aghast to see eldest son had been using the brand new washing machine - the household manual had not been updated with the new instructions as the new machine only came a week before we went away. I asked him how he had know how to use the new machine and he said he had just winged it
It does not bear thinking about.
Your kitchen frog is far more entertaining than the 2 sparrows we had in the houseI write similar instructions, but with a load more remincers about locking up etc. One time I got a text from DS1, "problem and your instructions don't cover it"..."there is a frog on the kitchen floor and it's alive. You didn't leave instructions for this"
We do to.
So glad Ladyshopper is feeling better.
Congrats to cjj on the job front.

LS sorry to hear of all you've been through the last few days. Glad you're feeling a little better though. Speedy recovery :A
Why do I still get a flutter when I read of a coke glitch even though we don't use nearly enough to justify a trip to As anymoreold habits :rotfl:
The boys survived their journey to school and back. I did hide in the shed at home time. I had to come out though to settle a really funny argument about who should get the honour of using their key. They'd still be stood there now if I hadn't :rotfl::rotfl:
Settled by HG using his key, going in and locking the door from the inside so DS2 could use his key0 -

The old heart hospital nanny. That's where all urology patients go now. I prefer it to the big uclh hospital. Much quieter. I've not eaten until this evening as just off food completely, but food is fresh cooked and served on proper plates!0 -
Right, I think I've worn myself out posting. Hopefully I'll keep getting better and will be able to post tomorrow.
Thank you everyone, and especially bubbs. :A0 -
