Carex 250ml and Lynx Shower 250ml being excluded as too cheap in A:rotfl:. Also noticed a new Domestos Power Fresh 700ml (Blue colour) - it's not on msm but it is already on a.com (by the time I discover it in M), so I assume it won't work under the 'new' APG which works from a.com. Useless really:rotfl:, this entire post:rotfl::rotfl: - but I am continuing to look for you!0

M list completed again (and ready to do again tomorrow:(:D:rotfl:). I seem to be collecting details of a lot of £1 plants but no John Friedas or Sanexes:rotfl:. Some 'interesting' items - does anyone know whether the A Extra Lean Pork Mince 500g is comparing against very good price for M (£1.42 on my weight adjustments)? Also SP Frozen Peas make it to the list (T price has not come down, so onto Avs M) and, yes, I have noticed that they have only just gone down in price in M. (I think I saw equivalent to SP Peas in Aldi at very slightly cheaper than A's price per kg. though, so may be best buying there if my prediction comes to pass - namely I doubt whether M's version will be picked up on the APG.) Frozen Cabbage (on 'buy in M', keep up:p;), since A and T do not have an equivalent) has been crossed since the cabbage bought 'fresh' in Aldi (at 39p) works out cheaper at the moment.
Some price changes here and there - some bakery items/apple pies/mini rolls etc. have gone up in price by a penny here, but the Hopper's Chocolate Chip Cake Bars appear to have gone down in price by a couple of pence. UHT (SP-equiv.) milk also up in price in M:(. Carlsberg 20 pack is off, obviously, even though they have it brought out to the front of the store in one of my stores with big "£12" offer label in front of it - as if we don't notice that last week it was £10! (I suspect many people, indeed, do not notice it - and end up thinking it's good (expecially with the red border to the label:D) and paying £2 more.) However, the Somersby 20 pack cans (x440ml) are still at £10 (N/A in A so would have to buy in M at £10) but only if your M store still has stock as that is 'whilst stocks last' - I found some only in one out of three of my M stores.
I'll mention (though it's not too good in 'guide price' terms) the M Australian Chardonnay 75cl at £4.99 and 50p 'More' points - just because it's cheaper in M (than the Ex. Spec. version in A (non-comparable though I would not risk as a filler on an Mvs A comp. shop) or the version in Sains) - just mentioning it because M's version isn't on msm so that "you'd never know". Also, for completeness, M's loose baking potatoes are £1/Kg but that's quite high price per kg. for potatoes.0 -
Are these bags available in store ? The boy child will be in South Wales tomorrow, so I can get him to pop in.WishI'dReadSooner wrote: »All you English going on about reusable bags & being charged for flimsy plastic ones!
I have a solution for the lot of you - Shaw's woven bags at just 25p each! They are BRILLIANT. The large ones have a woven handle that will slip over your shoulder. I bought a dozen for £3 so I've always got some in the car.
If you have a Shaw the Drapers shop nearby go get yourselves some. If you don't then they are available online now. You won't regret buying a LOAD as friends will envy you these humongous bags. You'll use them for extra storage, to cart laundry up & downstairs etc. etc.

Udi's still work BUT a few items that should have compared according to MSM didn't. MILK now does NOT compare - so you save 1p every 4 pints. The quiche should also have compared.
Bit of a muggle shop. Hubby loves the Giovanni Rana pasta.
Unfortunately:T they only had 4 Udi's, however, I didn't complain, they also had run out of the £1 bags of Maltesers so they had to substitute a bigger bag.:o
13 items (4 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda tesco
1x Giovanni Rana Simply Italian Tortelloni Italian Cured Ham & Cheese (250G) £1.00 N/A
1x Weight Watchers Crustless Cheese & Onion Quiche (160G) £1.18 N/A
1x Giovanni Rana Simply Italian Ravioli Mushroom with Creamy Ricotta (250G) £1.00 N/A
1x Kingsmill Tasty Wholemeal Thick Sliced Loaf (800G) £0.75 N/A
1x Giovanni Rana Simply Italian Ravioli Chicken & Mozzarella with Smoked Pancetta (250G) £1.00 N/A
1x Birds Eye 4 Harry Ramsden's Famous Batter Large Cod Fillets (480G) £3.00 £2.00
2x ASDA Fresh Welsh Milk Semi Skimmed (4PT) £1.78 N/A
1x M & M's Peanut (165G) £1.00 £1.00
1x ASDA Smartprice Cheese & Bacon Quiche (330G) £0.78 N/A
1x Maltesers Pouch (121G) £1.00 £1.00
1x Giovanni Rana Simply Italian Tortelloni Tender Spinach & Ricotta (250G) £1.00 N/A
1x ASDA Smartprice Coleslaw (300G) £0.30 N/A
1x Aunt Bessie's Homestyle Chips (1.6KG) £1.50 N/A
10x Gluten Free Strawberry Flavoured Toaster Pastries (260G) £29.50 £10.00
Msm doesn't matter anymore and is just a guide. Of course T don't have 4 pint Semi Skimmed milk do they?:( I suspect an issue with the country variant of the milk - that sort of thing has happened before - here the Welsh version hasn't got picked up (perhaps they haven't scanned t.com in Wales to pick that up). As for the SP Bacon & Cheese Quiche, I can't see an equivalent for that on t.com? I have some Quiche on there at 400g (outside the weight range) but it's the fresh version not the frozen one you bought? I suspect regional/local products might not be picked up - they've never picked up a local item (not milk, something else) for me for M on the APG even though every week it's obviously available in my M stores! (Although the M comparison is done differently.)
"MILK now does NOT compare..." Has it been comparing before (I've not caught up, sorry)?0 -
as the rice are working from 2:30pm shops, are we now expecting them to work for the rest of the day please?0
