I'm massively procrastinating about the packing. Today is my only chance really because I've got someone coming round after work tomorrow then finally getting my hair done, and Tuesday after work I need to get waxed then make sure my house is lovely and tidy for when I get back
No house sitters this time :rotfl:See you doctor and get valium prescribed. We did that with DS2 as we didn't want to never fly again and wanted him to have the opportunity to travel. After a couple of valium assisted flights, he could manage without and has since had some amazing holidays, done voluntary work in Africa and is currently travelling America on and off planes.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Just reminded me, with those Adsa bags for life, if you rip one, can you replace it for free? (I might have already thrown it out of course.)“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

That is the whole idea of 'bag for life'.
But what they ought to do is replace ANY bag,not just their own. Ie Asda should replace a Tesco bag too.0 -
Some stores gave the B4L away just before legislation came in up here.0

Get 3 whole chickens for £7.37. Normal price is £4.39 each.
1)Join MyWaitrose scheme
2)First thing select the 1.2kg chicken as one of your "pick your own offers" saving you 20%.
3)Buy chickens under the 3 for £10 offer. (Which are the 1.2kg chickens)
4)3 chickens = £13.17 (full price)
20% of £13.17= £2.63
3 for £10 - £2.63 = £7.37
1 chicken = £2.46

Question is, does a carrier bag count as 1 of your 10 items ?Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Just caught up with the night shift.
Hugs to fc.
For those with flying issues there's a course at Manchester for nervous flyers. I heard years ago there was one in Norn Iron somewhere but they're more widespread now.
I'd never fly if I could take Eurostar to the continent but for further afield I would. OTOH 10-20 years ago we'd fly to Scotland as if we were catching the bus. Price has put us off; there's few real bargain flights now. We flew up 10 years ago to test-drive a car which we'd ben tipped off was a bargain; we bought it on the spot and tore up the return tickets as we drove back down to London.
There's supposed to be a ferry to the North of Spain that's like a proper cruise, but I'm the only one in my house that has sealegs. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
