It was me who said scamps was doing the quiz he is also about on Facebook.
  • Good morning all beautiful blue sky out there. There's only one problem with clear skies at this time of year, I checked the outside thermometer minimum and it got down to 2.4 degrees C overnight

Used to fly all the time, went to Spain for my lunch once (free tickets) but had a bad flight when they came to land too early, flew once after that and I was no good, so it has now been 15 years since I have flown. I hate that I am missing out on so much. I have family in Australia, and an amazing house in Barbados I could have, but cant bring myself to do it, its irrational, but hey, what can I do?

I absolutely adore flying, in spite of a bad landing experience. We went to Cuba, a few hours in the pilot announced we had turned around and would be landing at Gatwick in a few hours, we must have been close to the point of no return. Anyway, we were greeted by fire engines etc as we had lost a hydraulic system, we apparently were trailing hydraulic fluid on the way to the airport. When it was announced the person next to me was almost hysterical and was convinced she was going to die!

Only about half of us got onto the replacement plane the next day.

I'm going to do something to upset a few people on here today, to be announced in a few hours, no shenigans though :D
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
